HOW THIS PROGRAM WORKS(Use video as a reference.)
Robot will spin, doing a .5 rotation of the wheels. The ultrasonic sensor searches for an object farther than 25 cm. When found, the robot moves towards it. It will repeat step unless object is 10 cm away. If object is 10cm away, robot will pick up object and begin looking for a red spot to indicate it must shoot. If black is detected, robot moves back. If any other colour, except red or black is detected, robot moves forward.

Robotics New Jan 31st 2010
At this years CES, robots were everywhere. Here are some of the latest robotic creations:
1. Iphone controlled robotic helicopter
Developed by Parrot A.R, the Drone uses the iphones motion sensors to fly through the air. It has a built in camera and can connect to the internet via wi-fi.
2. Neato Vaccuum robot: very similar to the roomba, the neato robotic vacuum developed by USA Neato essentially looks the same too. There isn't much more to say.
3. Lego NXT 2.0: This actually came out in August but I had to mention it. The new NXT set from Lego features a colour sensor, 3 servo motors, a touch sensor, and ultrasonic sensor. with around 600 Technic pieces you can create anything you can think up. I'll be posting some of my creations soon.

Robotics NXT
Welcome to robotics NXT. My goal with this blog (and hopefully a site soon) is to provide the latest news in the field of robotics. I believe that in the next few years we are going to see huge leaps in this field. Robots don't have to replace what humans do but they can enhance it. For example cleaning homes can be a task which takes countless hours but with robots, this task can be made faster and more efficient.
I will also post my latest robotics creations. Most of them will be built using Lego NXT so I will also post instructions on how to build them and the programs I made for them.
Stay tuned and check back often.
